A major step forward in redevelopment is underway in Oak Ridge North, as city leaders officially broke ground on the long-anticipated ORN Plaza District. According to Community Impact, the project marks the beginning of a $6 million, 60,000-square-foot mixed-use development designed to bring new restaurants, retail, and community gathering spaces to the area. Positioned at the intersection of Robinson and Hanna roads, the Plaza District is envisioned as a central hub that blends small-town charm with future growth—creating a walkable destination for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
